Roy “Eugene” Barksdale, age 40 of Ohatchee, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Amber Hardy Barksdale; sons, Logan E. Barksdale and Brennan T. Hardy; mother, Darlene C. Barksdale; siblings, Fred Barksdale, Calvin Barksdale, Elaine Barksdale and Darlene Upton; aunt, Ruth Faulkner; and several cousins nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy D. Barksdale, and sister, Loretta Barksdale.
Eugene was an Ohatchee native, and a wonderful family man. He loved the outdoors fishing & hunting! He loved cars, gardening, landscaping, and helping people. Eugene will always be remembered as a loving, helpful, family member, neighbor and friend. He will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly
