Roy Edwin Bolton, age 92, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his residence at Village Manor.
He was born March 9, 1933, in Dallas, Texas, to the late William and Beulah Bolton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, and one son in law.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Anna Smith Bolton; son, Kyle (Cindy) Bolton of Lewisburg; two daughters, Kimberly Kay McGee of Lewisville, TX, and Debra Sue (Tom) Treadway of Kempner, TX; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Roy proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War era. Serving in the military helped shape Roy’s outlook on life, instilling in him a sense of discipline, resilience, and patriotism. Roy dedicated an impressive 41 years of his life to working as an accountant for Sherwin Williams. His long tenure is a testament to his commitment, reliability, and expertise in the field of accounting. Outside of his professional life, Roy enjoyed several pastimes that brought him relaxation and excitement. He was an avid golfer, often spending his leisure time on the golf course perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow golf enthusiasts. In addition to golf, Roy was a passionate sports fan, with a particular fondness for football. Roy’s life reflects a balance between dedication to his career and enjoyment of his personal interests. His story is one of steadfast loyalty, quiet passion, and a life well lived.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN, on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 12:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with Russell Wyatt and Kyle Bolton officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Derek Bolton, Steve Anderson, Kenneth Bailey, David Jent, Mike and Britt Wiles.
