Mr. Roy Douglas Butler, age 80 of Albertville, passed away Friday, March 03, 2023. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 07, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, with Brother David McMillen and Brother Dean Timbes officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 1:00 pm till the time of service, and burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery, of Albertville.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife Jennifer Butler; daughter Cheri Nelms (Chad); son Craig Butler (Tina); sister Frances Ferguson; brothers Bennie Butler (Elaine), LaVell Butler, and Tim Butler (Terri); grandchildren Douglas Musick, Matt Butler (Tiffany), Shawna Musick, Drake Nelms (Linnea), and Cambree Nelms; and great grandchildren Jaden Musick, Julianne Butler, Grant Butler, Kayson Musick, and Payton Musick.
He was preceded in death by his parents Farris and Maebelle Butler; sisters Brenda Snow and Janice Kuykendall; and brother W.C. Butler.
Pallbearers will include Brandon Jenkins, Greg Butler, Mike Cork, Kip Jenkins, Robert Mahler, and Mike Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers will include the Deacons of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donation be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Albertville, to general funds or maintenance funds. Thank you.
