Roy David “Julio” Hills, age 61, of Killen, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 13, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Monday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rusty Hills officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Creasy, Bobby Gautney, Anthony Jones, Josh Ward, Troy Ward and Mike Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Williams and Ethel Hills; brother, James Earl Hills; sister, Linda Creasy.
Survivors are his wife, Connie Hills, of Killen; son, Eric Hills (Leighann), of Florence;
stepdaughter, Joni Tate, of Las Vegas; stepson, Eric Tate, of Killen; brothers, Jimmie Hills, of Killen, and Kenneth Thompson, of Tuscumbia; sisters, Sue Tucker and Mildred Utley, both of Florence; special niece, Sunday Ward, of Florence; nephew, Rusty Hills, of Huntsville; niece, Gretta Binion, of Florence; grandchildren, Austin and Aubree Hills.
