  Roy Brenman Bewley Profile PhotoRoy Brenman Bewley, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 79. Mr. Bewley was born in Missouri, on April 19, 1945, to the late Roy Nelson and Juanita Creasy Bewley.

Roy was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Bewley served our nation honorably, with a career of over seventeen years, in the United States Army. Mr. Bewley was also an over-the-road truck driver, retiring after thirty years.

Mr. Bewley is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jackson Lambert; brother, Bishop Bewley; and sister, Lavella Dornan.

Those left to cherish Mr. Bewley’s memory includes his wife, Terri Welsh Bewley; daughters, Michelle Adams (Randal), Nicole Thomas (James); grandchildren, Morgan Lambert (Cody), Bo Thomas, Kaylin Cox (Skylar), Cory Adams; great-grandchildren, Gunner Cox, Brayden Cox, Brycen Cox, and coming soon, Salter Banks; brother, Jimmy Bewley (Kathy); sister, Hilda Caudle (Howard); favorite mother-in-law, Dorothy Horton; and very special friend, J.D. Landman.

Friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 12 noon until 1:00 o’clock PM for a time of visitation, with funeral services immediately following. Services will be held in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with Don Froelich officiating. Burial will follow services in Brooklyn Cemetery where Randal Cox, Jeff Graul, Cody Banks, James Thomas, Bo Thomas, and Cory Adams will serve as pallbearers.
