, 97, of Niceville, FL (formerly of Iuka, MS), died Sunday, January 12, 2014, at The Manor of Blue Water Bay in Niceville, FL. She loved to attend church, and enjoyed Billy Graham programs. She also enjoyed the Lawrence Welk show. She was an avid walker and shoe shopper. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Thursday, January 16 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM on Friday, January 17, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sisters – Billie Hester (Junior) of Niceville, FL and Betty Strickland of Collierville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Etta Wood Yow; three sisters – Willard Philbin, Lois McKee, and Dimple Simone; and two brothers – Lloyd and J.E. Yow. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Prospect Cemetery Fund.
