Rosie Lee Neal Profile Photo Rosie Lee Ross Neal was born on April 19,1936 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William Ulysses Ross and Ada Goodlow.

In May of 1953, she was united in marriage to Edward Leon Neal, who preceded her in death on December 02, 1969.

Rosie was a homemaker and was a foster grandparent at a headstart in Lawton, Oklahoma for 5 years. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and Gold Star Wives Club in Lawton, Oklahoma. Rosie loved cooking, gardening, watching westerns and soap operas, talking on the phone, fashion and jewelry, and most of all her family and friends.

Rosie Lee Ross Neal departed this life on April 14, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 11 months, and 26 days.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Neal Carter and Vanessa Neal both of Lawton, Oklahoma; sons, Franklin B. Neal of Jackson, Mississippi, William Lee Neal of Lawton, Oklahoma, Sammie Junior Neal of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Richard Junior Neal of Lawton, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Franklin Darrell Neal, Ashley Neal, Stevon Carter, Nicolette Leon, Shante Carter Santiago, and Shawn Carter; and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosie was preceded in death by her son, Xavier Neal.
