Rosezetia Ann Thigpen, age 72, of Ardmore passed away at her home on July 5, 2026.Mrs. Thigpen was born to Jesse and Mary Hudson Terry on August 2, 1953.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son Bradley Thigpen.
Ann loved spending time with her family, she was a caring soul who never tired of taking care of others, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed singing and playing the piano.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Thigpen; two sons Kenneth (Renee) and David (Amanda); two brothers Jimmy Winstead (Tammy) and Eddie Terry (Cindy); one sister Joy Samples; nine grandchildren Caine Thigpen, Shan Thigpen, Sutton Thigpen, Ivy Thigpen, Peyton Thigpen, Laila Thigpen, Della Thigpen, Walker Harmon, and Madison Harmon and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Caine Thigpen, Shan Thigpen, Walker Harmon, Peyton Thigpen, Chase Smith and Anthony Carter. Sutton Thigpen will be an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8 ,2026 at McConnell Funeral Home from 11 AM to 12:50 PM. A service in her honor will be held at 1 PM, Jeff Drake will officiate. Burial will follow in Copeland Cemetery.
