Rosemary Lea Youngblood, 68 of Dora, passed away Jan. 8, 2023 at her residence.
She was retired from the California Department of Corrections. She was a U.S. Army veteran. She was a Native American and very proud of her heritage. She loved to sing and her very favorite place in the world was at the ocean in Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Paula Blundell and her sister, Babet Pharr.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Danny Youngblood; children, Stanley Youngblood, Kalonni Tiffany, Wyndy Youngblood and Deidre Youngblood; fifty eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brothers, Wichita and Waco Blundell; sister, Robin Crowder; several other relatives and many friends.
A memorial services will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Sumiton. The time will be announced in the upcoming days.
