Rosemary Catherine Klima Rymut, 76, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Rosie was a devout Catholic and contributed many volunteer hours to Catholic Family Services. She was an animal lover and owned several dogs throughout her life. She was a member of Huntsville Obedience Training Club and a member of Therapy Partners. She loved to visit nursing homes with her therapy dog, Roxy. She worked at the Alabama Dental Board and she was an instructor at the American Red Cross until she retired in 2012.
Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Klima; mother, Elizabeth Klima, and sister, Elizabeth Ungvarsky (Klima). Rosie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward John Rymut; daughters, Holly Fowler (Scott Fowler), Crystal Ward (John Ward III) and Wendy Moza (Thomas Moza); grandchildren, Ryan Fowler, Collin Fowler, Aidan Moza, Anthony Moza, and John Ward IV; and sister, Beatrice Klima Gailus.
Visitation will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, located at 625 Airport Road, Huntsville, AL 35802, on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. with a luncheon immediately following. Procession to Good Shepherd Catholic Church, located at 13550 Chaney Thompson Rd SE, Huntsville, AL 35803, will be at 12:30 p.m. to place her cremains in her niche at the Columbarium for her final resting place.
