Rosemary Ann Trott, 85, passed away July 9, 2015, at ECM Hospital. She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and attended St. Peters School and Poughkeepsie High School. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 3989, Women of the Moose No. 1614, 50s Plus, and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 10-11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian burial to follow. Officiating will be Father Roy Runkle. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eleanor McGann, sisters, Florence and Ava McGann, and sons, Dennis and Michael Shay.
She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Trott, of Florence; son, Keith P. Trott (Maggie), of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter, Cheryl Trott Ferzoco (Steven), of Florence; grandchildren, Catherine Ferzoco, of Florence, Kimberly and Nicole Ferzoco, both of Boston, Massachussets, Kevin Ferzoco, of Rochester, Minnesota, and Keith D. Trott and Diana Trott Edwards, both of Florida, Aaron Shay, of North Carolina, and Brittney Shay, of New York; brother, George McGann Jr. (Josephine), of Poughkeepsie, New York; sister, Eleanor Russell, of Oregon; daughter-in-law, Carol Shay, of Southport, North Carolina; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. E. Holden, Dr. P. Pons, Dr. Baalbaki, and all the dedicated caregivers for all the wonderful care given to and the love and laughter shared with our mother.
