Roselie Lomoro, a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother, sister and cherished friend to so many, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in the comforting arms of her beloved husband, Tim. Her life was a testament to her deep love for her family, her unwavering faith, and her passion for the simple joys of the outdoors. She was 75 years old.
Born Roselie Ann Vizzinia, she grew up in Ensley Alabama and graduated from Glenn High School. On November 18th, 1970, she married the love of her life, Tim Lomoro, and together they built a home filled with faith, and unconditional love. Roselie found great joy in raising their two sons, Lynn and Johnny, dedicating herself to nurturing their spirits and celebrating their accomplishments.
Roselie’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. A devout Catholic, she was a dedicated parishioner of St. Stanislaus/St. Patrick Catholic Church for over 50 years. Her love for God was evident in her compassionate nature and her genuine care for animals and people.
Roselie was known for her kindness, her welcoming smile, and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She touched the hearts of many and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She enjoyed working in her yard, surrounded by nature with her beloved dog Bella who was never far from her side. Beyond her green thumb, Roselie also had a deep love for fishing, and spending time with her river family. And if you knew Roselie, you knew her Saturdays in the fall were reserved for cheering on the Crimson Tide, a tradition she thoroughly enjoyed with her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Tim Lomoro; her sons, Lynn (Debra Lomoro) and John Lomoro (Zach Spencer); her brother-in-law Joe Lomoro; her sister Frances (Rick) Whitfield; and her five beloved grandchildren, Garrett Lomoro, Chris Lomoro, Emily Lomoro, Courtney Lomoro, and Cammi Lomoro; niece Amy and great nieces Jolie and Kaiya. Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will live on in their hearts forever.
