Rose Marion Ogden Cavness, 87, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Cavness was retired from Irwin B. Schwabe in Paden and was formerly employed at Iuka Shirt Factory. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, U. L. Cavness; three sons, Phillip Cavness (Gina), Greg Cavness (David Bagwell), and Tim Cavness (Tammy); one daughter, Marion Eaton; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Jessie Cavness. Interment will follow in Tishomingo Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joel Ogden, Jeff Ogden, Mitchell Walls, Jeremy Taylor, Phillip Harper, and Josh Cook. Honorary pallbearers include Mike Kemp, B. J. Burks, Dr. Scott Segars, Tyler Cavness, and Michael Whitehead. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
