Rose M. Fleming, age 69 passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Feb. 26, 2018. Rose Fleming was preceded in death by her husbands; Arnold Shearer, Tom Fleming and Galen Bart; her parents Harold L. Voyles and Eula Phillips Voyles; brother David E. Voyles; and son-in-law Jimmy Pemberton.
She is survived by her daughter Wendy Fleming-Pemberton; two stepchildren Gene Fleming (Tammy), Rachel Magee (Jay), four grandchildren Lawton Pemberton, James Pemberton, Lee Fleming, Rebecca Fleming; two brothers Lyle Voyles, and Rev. Melvin (Red) Voyles; five sisters Sandra Jones, Shirley Durham, Lynda Konecny, Virginia Rogers, and Sharon Corbin.
Visitation is Thurs., March 1, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with funeral immediately following at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. John Hafner officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Duke University Brain and Spinal Cord Tumor Fund on behalf of Rose M. Fleming.
