Rose Atwater Denkler, 55, of Newell AL, took her final bow on August 29, 2026, at Tanner Medical in Carrolton Georgia. Born in New Britain Connecticut, she was the beloved daughter of Toni and Harold Atwater Sr.

Rose dedicated her career to healthcare, where she truly lived out her passion for taking care of others. Known for making everyone around her feel incredibly special, she was the heart of her family . Rose was an exceptional woman who loved bringing people together to celebrate life’s moments. She was also a dedicated member of Union Baptist Church in Newell AL.

She is survived by her loving husband, Curtis Ray Denkler of Newell AL: her children , Diana Posey (Michael Posey) of Ider AL, Monique Carden (Jeremy Coppock) of Newell AL, Dustin Denkler (Melissa Denkler) of Weaver AL, Kyle Denkler (Crystal Denkler) of Franklin GA. Her devoted parents, Toni and Harold F Atwater Sr of Newell AL and her beloved brother ,Harold F Atwater (JR) of Newell AL .Roses love and legacy will live on through her 13 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her siblings; Fred Atwater III and Frances Starks.

Memorial Services for Rose will be held at Union Baptist Church in Newell AL on Sunday, September 13, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Dempsey and Pastor Ed Halsey officiating.

The family welcomes both floral tributes and memorial donations made in Rose Denklers’ honor to

the Randolph Baptist Association Food Pantry or the Randolph County Learning Center in Roanoke AL.
