Mrs. Rose Ann Anderton Smith, age 61 of Rainsville, Alabama passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Michael Adam Smith (Jack Barker), Christopher Smith, and Samantha Rene Smith; grandson, London Kyle Smith; brothers, Glenton Leroy Anderton and Anthony Anderton (Tammy Bentley); significant other, Wayne C. Steinard, Jr.; great nephew, Jackson “Ace” Robertson; cousin, Earline Starnes; and sister-in-law, Beth Keigans Steinard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Smith; daughter, Heather Smith; and parents, Cecil Carl and Ruth (Crabtree) Anderton.
Funeral service will be held at 2:0 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Holbrooks, Brian Crabtree, Jeremy Crabtree, Patrick Treece, Fabian Dykes, and Zachary Bentley.
