Rosalee Taylor age 88 of Athens, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Taylor was born March 9, 1930 in Orange County, FL to Asa Monroe Tanner and Sara Lee Mack Tanner.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 25, 2018 10:00 a.m., at Athens Memory Gardens with C.W. Kennedy Pastor of Madison Street Baptist Church officiating. There will be no visitation. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.

Mrs. Taylor loved gardening and animals. She loved God and looked forward to the day that she would be with him in Heaven. Two of her favorite quotes: Precious precious God, he takes such good care of us, and we do the best we can, and that’s all we can do.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Taylor; daughter, Felicia Ann Taylor and nephew, Hollis Johns.

Survived by her niece/daughter, Brenda Pepke and husband, Tim of Christmas, FL; grandchildren, Brandy, Kayle and Wayne of Christmas FL; great-grandson, Tucker; nephew, Harold Johns and wife, Nicki of Athens; great-nephew, Derek Johns of Athens; sister-in-law, Faye Logston of Decatur; great-niece, Jackie Caldwell; great-nephew, Troy Chambers, and wife, Dixie of TN; great-niece, Kristy Kirby and several more extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Jim Pepke, Harold Johns, Derek Johns, Danny Waddell, Troy Chambers and Chasen Uptain.
