Mrs. Rosa Rissel McGee, 90, of Killen, passed away July 25, 2012, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth following a brief illness. Visitation will begin at 10am Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home with the service to follow at 11am in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Father Andrew C. Keyse. Burial will follow in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McGee was a native of Korb, Germany and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Florence where she devoted many hours of service when she was able. For 18 years she worked at Whorton Drug Store.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Phillip and Stephine Rissel; brothers, Martin, Pete and Manner Rissel and a sister, Gunda. Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Jimmy L. McGee, Killen; son, Rolf D. McGee and daughter-in-law Linda of Madison, AL; siblings, Louis Rissel and Barbel, Korb, Germany; granddaughter, Robin McGee, Tucson, AZ.
Pallbearers will be Erich Sigle, Gunther Sigle, David Lovelace, Larry McGee, Murray Hillman, and Harold Sigle.
