Rosa Lee, the youngest of four sisters, was born on April 2, 1921 in Atlanta, Georgia. She married Bill Heflin in 1941 and the couple soon welcomed two children into their home. She was a homemaker, amateur artist, active member of Huntsville Woman’s Club for many years, golfer, and gardener. She and Bill were longtime members of Weatherly Heights Baptist Church.
Following Bill’s retirement, the two spent years traveling across the US and Canada with their gleaming Airstream travel trailer in tow as enthusiastic members of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International and making many life-long friendships. She loved her family, friends, roses, and entertaining guests.
The family will hold a private graveside service.
