Rosa Ann Tidwell, age 86 of Double Springs, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 02, 1938 to Hobert and Ruby Lee Bearden. Rosa Ann embodied what a Proverbs 31 woman should be. She was a devout Christian who was faithful to God and her family. Rosa Ann loved sewing and cooking, which she was fantastic at, she also loved traveling and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill No.2 Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill No.2 Missionary Baptist Church in the Ashridge Community, where a service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at the adjoining cemetery. Brother Jeff Wiggins and Brother Brian Weems will officiate. Rosa Ann was survived by her children, Leland (Tracie) Tidwell, Wanda (Thomas) Curtis, Freddy (Cyndi) Tidwell and Samuel (Kimberly) Tidwell; brother, Jerry Bearden; sister-in-law, Diane Bearden; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Wallace L. Tidwell; parents, Hobert and Ruby Lee Bearden; brothers, Ben Bearden and Barry Bearden.
