Mr. Ronnie Ray Berry was born in Savannah, TN July 06, 1959 to his parents the late Mr. Freddy Berry and Mrs. Mildred Bunch Berry. He was raised in Waynesboro attending school and graduating from Wayne County High with the class of 1977. He also attended the Wayne County Vocational Program and learned the vocation of Auto Mechanics a vocation in which he would spend his working years. Later in his adult life he would meet Janice “Jan” Keeton and the two would marry on May 5, 1990. They chose Waynesboro as their forever home; raising their daughter and sharing their hearts and lives together for the next 35 years. Mr. Ronnie was a spiritually minded man as he was a member of Rays Chapel Church in Waynesboro. He loved his friends and family and whenever needed he could be found repairing vehicles for those closest to him. In addition to fishing and mechanic work, in his leisure time, he could be found playing poker with his friends and enjoying the time spent with loved ones. However, nothing in his heart compared to the time he spent playing with his grandchildren. Mr. Ronnie Ray Berry passed from this life on July 05, 2025 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Wilson County, TN making his stay on this earth some 65 years, 11 months and 30 days.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife Janice “Jan” Berry; daughter Veronica Gilbert husband Daylan; grandchildren Gavin Gilbert and Noah Gilbert; siblings Hilda Potete , Joanie Warren husband Paul and Travis Berry all of Waynesboro, TN
Celebration of Life and Visitation with the Berry family will be held July 26, 2025 at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC building in Waynesboro, TN from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm.
