Funeral services for Ronnie Lynn Newell Jr., age 35, will be on Thursday evening March 4, 2021 at 7 pm in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton with Corey Cummings officiating. Committal services will be in Davidson Chapel Cemetery on Friday. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday March 4, 2021 starting at 5 pm until service time at 7 pm. All services will follow the appropriate social distancing protocols, with face masks required, as set forth by the CDC and state of Tennessee.
Mr. Newell an employee of American Fencing in Medina, TN and member of Davidson Chapel Church passed away on Tuesday March 2, 2021 at Milan General Hospital.
Mr. Newell served his community as a fire fighter with the Moores Chapel and Bradford Fire Stations for over 10 years. His greatest pleasure was riding his “Harley”.
Mr. Newell was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Jo Newell.
Mr. Newell is survived by: a daughter Allison Nicole Newell of Henderson, TN; his father Ronnie L. Newell Sr. of Trenton, TN; two sisters Sharon Cooper of Bradford, TN and Rhonda Plunkett of Trenton, TN; four nieces Krista, Josie, Sara, and Danica ; maternial grand parents George and Faye Hodgson of Dyer, TN; and paternal grandparents Nedham and Eutoka Newell of Medina, TN.
