Ronnie Lowell Brown, 75, of Florence passed away on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 8 at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jimmy Shields and Bro. Charles Linam officiating. Interment will be in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Drew Brown, Matthew Brown, Evan Wallace, Koby Gean, Ryan Letson, Nathan Letson, Shannon Haataja and Scott Haataja. Members of Operating Engineers Local 320 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Brown was a graduate of Central High School, member of Murphy’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Civitan and Operating Engineers Local 320. He also served 12 years on Lauderdale County Commission and 911 Board.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Tracy McDonald Brown; mother, Pearl Etta Ticer Brown; father, Benjamin Brown; sons, Ricky L. Brown and Roger L. Brown; grandson, Ricky L. Brown, Jr.; and brother, Benjamin “Benny” Brown, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Elaine Brown; children, Ralph Brown (Selina), Ronald L. Brown (Wanda), Robbie L. Brown (Stacy) and Rachel L. Brown; sisters: Jimmy Neal Patrick (Grady) and Dottie Pettus (Robert); grandchildren, Tiffany B. Pace, Theresa B. Wallace (Evan), Ashley Brown, Elisha B. Moore, Drew Brown (Britton), Matthew Brown and Lilly Webb; and great-grandchildren, Todd Askew, Makenzie Wallace, Peyton Pace, Brianna Moore and Madi Wallace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
