Ronnie Leon McCaslin, age 66, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center.
Ronnie loved Alabama football, hunting, fishing, and racing, but most importantly to him was his family who he loved deeply. He was a friend to everyone who knew him. He will be fondly remembered as “Uncle Ick” or Ichabod to his nieces & nephews who loved him very much.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 23 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating the service will be Bro. Brian Scott. Burial will be at Old Line Cemetery in Hodges.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ivey McCaslin; and parents, Cecil Leon & Helen Louise (McDaniel) McCaslin.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jason McCoy (Stacey), Aprille Letson (Daniel), Rose Deaton, Charles Ivey; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one baby boy soon to arrive; siblings, Barbara Scott (Virgil), Susan Rubio (Jimmy), Donna Ballew, Jimmy McCaslin (Charlene); and a host of nieces & nephews who loved him very much.
The pallbearers will be Kevin Scott, Jacob Hamilton, Brady Williams, Dillon Creekmore, Jacob “Bud” Springer, Hunter Bennett, Noah Bennett, and Hayston Scott.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
