Ronnie Hugh Wilson, 85, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Monday, July 26th, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Ronnie was a proud veteran of the United States Army, who served in both the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions and was awarded the National Service Defense Medal.

Family and Friends will gather at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 10:45:AM to go in a Funeral Procession to Winston Memorial Cemetery for a Graveside Service at 11:00AM.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha Fay McCormick Wilson, their daughter, Rhonette Wilson Bailey, and their granddaughter, Amanda Bailey (Tyler) Weaver. He is also survived by his brother, Bennie Neil (Pat) Wilson, several nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Elijah Wilson and Nellie Odell Smith Wilson; brother, Jerry Joe Wilson; and sister, Wilma Jean “Tootsie” Townsend.
