We Lost a Good One

You were more than just a dad; you were the person we looked up to growing up. You were a loving husband and father. You taught me so much over the years. I’ll miss your laugh. I’ll miss seeing you in your chair when I come by to visit. I’ll miss the calls at 4 a.m. on my birthday every year just to make sure you were the first on to say, “happy birthday”. I’ll miss the random stories you would tell us about your past and growing up. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without you. I’m grateful to call you, my dad. We’ll keep truck’n here until we see you again.
I love you Dad, your son Noah

Daddy, love without end, Amen. You will be deeply missed. The stories, laughter, always being there for everyone. You always loved getting the family together and sitting with a big smile on your face cause that made you happy! When I was little, I didn’t want to be anywhere else but sitting beside you in that big truck rolling down the road. The grandkids will miss your phone call every day; Daddy, it’s John Boy here! Over and Out!

My Ronnie, you are my life. This is going to be the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. You will be loved and missed for the rest of my days. You were so good to me. We’ve been together so long. We met when I was 10 years old. It’s been a long time. I’m so glad you took me to every state and Canada. Lord Help me, Ronnie. I deeply love you with all my heart.
Brenda Tyra

Papa, we are going to miss you and the stories. Thank you for loving us all, taking us on trips and just showing us love.

They called him “Hard Times”, on the radio, but to me he was my safe place, my dad, and my whole world. He worked tirelessly for his family and made sure we were always taken care of. He protected me in every way and never let me doubt his love for me. He taught me everything in life except how to live without him. I will forever be his Daddy’s little girl!
