Funeral for Ronnie Gene Beans, age 76, of Crane Hill will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1 p.m. from Moss-Service Chapel. There will be a 2:30 p.m. graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. Reverends Steve Brown and Charles Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Beans, who passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at his residence, was born in Olathe, Kansas to Stanley and Sarah Beck Beans. He was a school administrator with the Decatur City School System. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rodney Beans.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Beans; daughters, Jana Davis and Jodi (Preston) Wallace; sister, Marjorie Weeks; brother, Yandell Beans; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Hannah Lauren and Brody; great-grandchild, Emersyn; three nephews and four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
