Funeral for Ronnie Dwaine “RD” Ward, 61, of Town Creek will be today, December 15, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Sherrill officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Ward, who died Saturday, December 13, 2014, at UAB Birmingham, was born October 16, 1953, in Hartselle to Leonard Hobson Ward and Birttie Ward. He served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed antique car restoration, car shows and farming. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessie Ward Craig; his parents; brothers, Leonard H. Ward Jr. and Truman Ward; and sisters, Lavern Enterkin and Hilda Dobbs.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Ward; his son, Tyron Ward; grandchildren, Austin Ward, Morgan Ward, Olivia Craig, Avary Ward and Julian Craig; brothers, Harold Ward, Huey Ward, Jerry Ward and Thomas Ward; and sister, Mary Nell Drinkard.
