Ronnie Dean Sanders, 79, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
He was the son of the late Hart Sanders and Mary Fields Dale Sanders.
Mr. Sanders has lived around the Ardmore area for the majority of his life and was a member of the Ardmore Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred Sanders, sisters Dorothy Compton and Melanie Sanders, brothers-in-law Lonnie Compton, Jake Dugger, and Melvin Potts, as well as sister-in-law Betty Dugger.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Sanders, sons Butch (Stephanie) Sanders and Tim Sanders, brother William (Bobbie) Sanders, sister Bonnie Potts, grandchildren Jacob Sanders, Cora Atkins, and Bailey Fromhold, as well as one great grandchild Grayson Harris.
A visitation has been scheduled for Mr. Sanders at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM with a Chapel Service scheduled the following day, Monday, October 17, 2022, to begin at 11:00 AM. Bro. Douglas Eubanks to officiate.
Pallbearers will be Chris Potts, Derrick Potts, Jacob Sanders, Jason Dugger, Bubba Compton, and Matthew Judd. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Dugger, Joe Mark Douthit, Jim Stanford, James Griffin, Roger Weldon, and all Ardmore veterans.
