Ronnie Dale England, Sr. died July 15, 2013 at the age of 76.
He was baptized into the Church of Christ in 1972. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was truly an old-school family man. He worked hard all his life as a pipefitter/welder to provide the best for his family, who were his most prized possession. He was also an avid Harley rider and continued to ride until age 75.
Visitation at Elkins Funeral Home will begin on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. The chapel service will be at 2:00 p.m. with Frank Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 56 years Shirley; sons Ronnie Dale England, Jr. (Sherry) of Nashville and Randy Lynn England of Florence; daughter Pamela Pierce of Nashville; grandchildren Mallory, Tyler, Josh, Kyle, William, and Matthew; a sister Frances Risner; granddogs Sophie, Bama, Jax, Lexi and Bandit.
He was preceded in death by his father Peyton England, mother Pauline England, and sister Joyce Ingrum.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary bearers will be his union brothers from Steamfitters Local Union 760 of Muscle Shoals, AL.
