Ronnie Alvis Winters, 52, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at his home in Algoma. Ronnie was born on December 20, 1970, to Kenny Ray and Jonell Moore Winters. A 1988 graduate of South Pontotoc High School, Ronnie loved fishing and hunting and drove a truck for many years.
Survivors include his children, Codey Lyn Winters and Chasity Cheyenne Winters; his three grandchildren, Paisley Hayze, Chandler Cade, and Payton Reed Goggins; his brother, Tommy Ray Winters; and his sister, Donna Holcomb (Scotty).
He was preceded in death by his parents; his baby brother, Johnny Wayne Winters; maternal grandparents, T.L. and Doris Moore; and his paternal grandparents, Gilbert Alvis and Annie Bell Winters.
Services will be Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Lanny Burchfield officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4th 5-8PM and Thursday, October 5th 1PM until service time. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony McCreight, Tyler Barton, Tom Holladay, Steven Counce, Scotty Holcomb, and D’Mitris Virden.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Loggins and Shane Bridgman.
