Ronald S. “Ron” Shaw, age 75 of Tuscumbia, died Monday, August 1, 2016.
His family will receive friends Saturday, August 6, 2016, 1-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Jack Henson and Trae Durden officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Ron was a native of Tiptonville, TN, served four years in the U. S. Navy on the USS Eldorado and was a 1978 graduate of UNA. He was an avid sports fan and supported Memphis State Tiger Football and Basketball. He was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ.
Ron was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Mac Ervin and Loyd Douglas Ervin.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Patricia Shaw; son, Steven Scott Shaw of Meridianville, AL; daughter, Angela Shaw Crittenden of Russellville; brother, Billy Charles Shaw of St. Roberts Missouri; three grandchildren, Alex Crittenden, Sam Shaw, Nicole Betancourt; and a great-grandson, Cooper, who will be born in England in November.
