Ronald Parrish, age 74, of Springville, died Friday, March 6, 2015. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, March 9, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. A second funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, at 2:00 p.m., at Maud Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be on Tuesday, March 10, in Forest Grove Cemetery, Tishomingo, Mississippi.
Mr. Parrish was a native of Tishomingo, Mississippi, and lived most of his life in the Birmingham area. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Parrish was a member of the Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda Parrish; sons, Terry Parrish and wife Lesley, Jeff Parrish and wife Shelia, and Mike Parrish and wife Betsy; daughter, Ronda Bryant and husband Harold; brothers, Leon Parrish, Doug Parrish, and Steve Parrish; sister, Paula Nichols; grandchildren, Lauren Bryant, Ren Jenkins, Blake Jenkins, Drake Jenkins, Chris Parrish, Cody Parrish, Caitlyn Parrish, Levi Parrish, Carly Higgins, Kelly Rogers, Madison Higgins, Amanda Alexander, and Melissa Harris; and great grandson, Gage Bryant Jennings.
