Ronald O’Neal Thorn, age 47, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, September 11, 2014. His family will receive friends Sunday 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Woodrow Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, O’Neal Thorn.
He is survived by his wife Serena Thorn; mother, Ann Thorn; sons, Staff Sgt. Jacob Thorn (Jennifer) and Andrew Thorn; daughter, Jesika Thorn; brothers, Keith Thorn (Leslie), Timothy Thorn (Jessica) and sister, Michelle Jackson (Tony).
Pallbearers are Andrew Thorn, Kevin Vinson, Jeremy Ivy, Corey Vinson Jr., James Smith, Jonathan Thorn and Tony Winstead.
