Ronald Nance Lawler Ronald Nance Lawler, 81 of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025. Mr. Lawler was born on September 12th, 1943, in Athens, Alabama, to J.C. Lawler and Mable Lindsay Lawler.

Mr. Lawler is survived by his daughters Tammy Strickland, Laura Touchstone (Brad), and Wendy Ross (Dallas); grandchildren Trinity Strickland, Tess Strickland, Bray Touchstone, Baylor Touchstone, Matthew Ross, and Curt Ross; siblings Rose Hicks, Gerald Lawler, Linda Stewart, J.C. Lawler, Jr., and Judy Brady; a host of nieces and nephews; and life-long friend Sammy Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Lawler was a very special man. He was a leather crafter and made saddles. He loved to travel, go fishing and camping, and loved horses and rodeos. He also has been trail riding in 48 states. He welcomed anyone to come sit with him on his porch. He dearly loved his grandbabies and was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will take place on 2025 Kentucky Derby Day at his farm in Tennessee. More details to be announced.
