Ronald Louis “Butch” Laursen, 64, of Eva passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 6pm to 9pm at Moss Service Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 1pm at Moss Service Funeral Home. He will lie in state from 12pm to 1pm on Thursday. Burial will follow in Cullman City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jackie Edge, Jake Edge, Jordan Edge, Breyden Marks, Todd Easterwood, Fulton Easterwood, Trevor Laursen and Drew Easterwood.
Butch is survived by his wife of 37 years, Selina Laursen; daughters, Shelba (Jackie) Edge, Tanya (Todd) Easterwood and Holly (James) Marks; brother, Keith (Ronda) Laursen; grandchildren, Jake (RaShawna) Edge; Shania Edge, Jordan Edge, Kristin Laursen, Drew Easterwood, Raigan Easterwood, Fulton Easterwood, Luke Easterwood, Camara Marks, Breyden Marks, Breeze Marks and Gweniviere Marks; great grandchildren, Nova Craven, Leo Vandiver, Ronin Pitts, Sileah Laursen, Skylan Edge and Sofia Edge and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Keith Laursen and Eva Evelyn Maddox Laursen; sister, Janet Olsen and grandparents, Laurits Christian and Hilda Marie Laursen and Ollie Wesley and Joanna Maddox.
