Ronald Lee Woodward II, age 38, passed away at his residence, he was born on April 28, 1977.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 9, 2015 form 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Ronald is survived by his Mother – Phyllis (Ewell) Meredith; Father – Ronald Woodward; Step-Mother – Jennifer Woodward; 2 – Sisters – Michelle (Gary) Cochran & Jessie (Jason) Fortenberry; one Brother – Barclay Woodward; 2 – Nieces – Jenny Reese Fortenberry & Maggie Belle Eddy; 3 – Nephews – Robert Cochran, Daniel Cochran & Conner Fortenberry; and Charles & Brenda Quattlebaum.

This breaks my heart so much. Woody was not only an amazing human being who always went out of his way to cheer people up he was one of the finest Marines I ever got to work with. He deserved so much more from this world. I hope wherever he is now he is at peace. You will be greatly missed on earth, Semper Fi brother.
Woody was such a good person. I truly valued his friendship. He was a genuinely kind human being, I am so sad he is gone. At least he is at peace now. He was a great Marine, a great Friend, and he is missed.
