Ronald Jones, age 81, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on December 15, 2023. He was born on November 1, 1942, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to the late Ralph and Sarah Jones.
Ronald was an avid golfer, fisherman, and an enthusiastic reader of novels.
Devoted to his community, Ronald was a dedicated volunteer for the Well Outreach in Spring Hill. Even when not feeling his best, his commitment to helping others never wavered, and he could always be found lending a helping hand in the community. He was also a former President of the Rotary Club located in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
Above all, Ronald cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jones, and their children: Tracey Roberts, Penny Sue Hoover, and Kelly Rosberg. Ronald leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, evident in the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were touched by his presence.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Barbara Jones and Brenda Foster.
Ronald’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to both family and community will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave throughout his life.
