Funeral service for Ronald Gordon Hicks, 73, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Revs Mark Smith, Tommy Graves, Keith Warden, Wade Maynard officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Hicks passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1946 to Warren Gordon & Bertie Lucille Hornsby Hicks. He was a Baptist pastor in Alabama for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Vickie Harbison Hicks; daughter, Kimberly Rodgers; step-daughters, Melissa Thompson, Laura (Tim) Martin; brother, Jimmy Hicks; sisters, Gay Mitchell, Hilda Williams; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gideons International, Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief through the East and West Cullman Baptist Association or Northbrook Caring Center.
Visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
