Ronald Eugene Hollander Sr., 53, of Florence, passed away July 30, 2014, at ECM Hospital. Ronnie was a machinist at Mangas Tool and Die, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where he retired several years ago. 

Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. 

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, James Howard Hollander Sr. and Mary Letha Thompson Hollander, and brother, Joseph Dennis Hollander. 

He is survived by his son, Ronald Eugene Hollander Jr., of Florence; grandson, Riley Jackson Hollander; sister, Marilyn Diane Hollander, of Muscle Shoals; brothers, James Howard Hollander Jr. (Frances), of Muscle Shoals, Steven Wayne Hollander,of Florence, and Keven Layne Hollander (Tammy), of Muscle Shoals; brother in his heart, James Webster Hutto; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hutto Atkinson (Christopher), James Howard Hollander III (Melinda), Lloyd Martin “Marty” Hollander, Amy Hutto Sharp (Bentley), Crystal Hollander Vallejo, David Dewayne Hollander, Mark Anthony “Tony” Hollander (Mallory), Kaitlyn Ann Hollander, Colton Roan Hollander, and Rylee Sue Hollander; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Pallbearers will be James Howard Hollander III, Martin Lloyd Hollander, David Dewayne Hollander, Mark Anthony Hollander, Robert Bentley Sharp, and Christopher Atkinson. 

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of the CCU unit at ECM Hospital, all his doctors, the Respiratory Department and the physical therapy team.
