Romilda Louise JacobsA Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Romilda Louise Jacobs, 97, will be Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Hartselle City Cemetery with Bro. Mahlon LeCroix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Romilda Jacobs was born 6th of 7 children in Ohio, on November 13, 1928. She married Ralph Jacobs, a WWII veteran and moved from one Army base to another, including 4 camps in Japan. She was a scout leader, parent volunteer in schools, sang in the Catholic Church choir. She was a lifelong Catholic and member of Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church in Decatur, AL. She lived with her daughter, Barbara Eddy, for 35 years. She died peacefully in her home on March 14, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years- Ralph Joseph Jacobs, Sr., her parents- Benjamin and Katherine Lubbers, son- William Eugene Jacobs, daughter- Linda Marie Jacobs, and a grandson- Daniel Jacobs.

Survivors include:

Sons- Ralph Joseph Jacobs, Jr. and Ronald Matthew Jacobs (Phala)

Daughters- Gloria Jacobs Garrison and Barbara Eddy

Seventeen Grandchildren

Thirty-three Great Grandchildren

3 Great, Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be family members
