Romeo Dillon Cottrell, 75, of Elkmont, died Friday, April 26, 2019, in Falkville, Alabama. A memorial service will be held later.
Mr. Cottrell was born July 1, 1943, in Clay County, West Virginia. He attended the Baptist church, and he was a retired automobile mechanic.
Survivors include sons, Christopher Cottrell of Lacey Springs, Alabama, and Dillon Stanley Cottrell of Hartselle, Alabama; daughters, Charlene McKnight of Magnolia, Kentucky, Michelle Walker of Elkmont, Alabama, Dollie Tucker of Priceville, Alabama, Amanda Lawson of Falkville, Alabama, and Shellie Smith of Trinity, Alabama; sisters, Zona Bea Barnett of Athens, Alabama, and Gerri Cunningham of Craigsville, West Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
