Mr. Roland Dewitt Snyder was born December 16, 1926 in Manhattan, NY the son of the late Albert Snyder and Rosalie Trnka Snyder Budik.Mr. Snyder was a Retired Mechanic and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He departed this life on January 21, 2020 in Olivehill, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 1 Month and 5 Days.
He is survived by his wife Setsuko Oshiro Snyder of Olivehill, TN; his children, Stephen Snyder (Rachel); Lyle Snyder (Jeanie); a daughter, Cathy Porter (Jason Foks); James Snyder (Kathryn); his sisters-in-law Barbara Budik and Betty Budik; twelve grandchildren, Alexis Snyder, Jacob Wilson, Chance Wilson, Brittani Andrews and Alston, Breanna Snyder, Brooke Snyder, Sidney Porter, Spencer Porter, Shelby Snyder, Blake Snyder, Rachel Sutton, Cecilia Sutton; four great grandchildren, Mykale and Masyn Andrews, Kole and Kadynz Johnson. Mr. Snyder is also survived by his former in-laws Lanier Porter (LaVoyce), Lyn Porter and Vicki Stout.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Snyder was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Newkirk; brother-in-law Benjamin Newkirk, two brothers, Frank Budik, Joseph Budik; and his Step-Father Frank Budik Sr.
Services will be held on January 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Olive Hill Baptist Church with Bryan Camp officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be on January 25, 9:30 AM until service time at Olive Hill Baptist Church
