Roger Terry Frazier, Sr, 72, of Jasper passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at his residence.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, Jasper, AL. Funeral services will follow in the chapel. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens in Jasper following the funeral service. Tim Frazier and Alan Beasley will officiate.
Terry was a 1967 of graduate of Walker County High School. He retired from Alabama Power Company after 30 years of service where he made many special life-long friends. Terry was a Vietnam veteran serving in Saigon, Vietnam as a military policeman.
Terry was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and cousin. He had many, many special friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Terry was preceded in death by his Parents-Buell and Nell Patton Frazier; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law- James and Annella Dawkins and his Brother-Larry Frazier.
He is survived by his Wife of almost 52 years-Ginny Dawkins Frazier; Son-Roger Frazier (Wendy); Grandsons-Carson and Sawyer Frazier; Sister-Saundra Black (Richard); Brother-Tim Frazier (Deb); Sister-in-law-Sammie Frazier; Brother-in-law-Jim Dawkins (Dede); Sisters-in-law-Becky Tracy (Mike) and Nancy Dawkins (Scott Sullivan); Many nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends and his dog Buster.
Pallbearers will be Rich Black, Jody Frazier, Andy Frazier, Matt Frazier, Nathan Frazier, Charles Pierce, John Camp and Destin Talley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Arnold, Danny Arnold, Ed Lay, Jim Dawkins, Mike Tracy, Richard Black, Scott Sullivan, Chris (Roper) Hall and Kenneth Stewart.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Garcia and Comfort Care-especially Nathan who was always available when we needed him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Jasper, Alabama.
