Roger Shotts, age 66, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Winfield, surrounded by his family.
Roger was born May 2, 1960, in Birmingham, Alabama, to J.T. and Mona Ann Shotts.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Nichols Marion County Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Ann Shotts; his maternal grandparents, Thelma and Flossie Page; and his paternal grandparents, John and Viola Shotts.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Carol; his children, Zac (Jennifer) Shotts, Brandy (Melissa) Shotts, Jon Chase (Claire) Shotts, and Brooke (Seth) Miller; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Samantha, Susannah, Tinsley, Samuel, Nathaniel, and Jackson Cole.
Roger will also be remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and colleagues whose lives he touched throughout the years.
His family will remember him with love and gratitude for the memories, laughter, and time they were blessed to share with him.
