Roger Robinson, 73, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016, at The Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born November 26, 1942 to the late Talmer Robinson and the late Rue Robinson in Prentiss County. He was a member of Iuka Church of Christ.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. On May 7, 1965, he married the former Faye Ellen Wilson. He was a retired insurance agent and business man and served for a period of time in the MS National Guard. He served the church in many capacities at different congregations over the years preaching, teaching and ministering to others.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Iuka Church of Christ.
Survivors include his Wife, Faye of Tishomingo; Son: Mitch Parrish (Jennifer) of Florence, AL ; Daughters: Tina Robinson of Tishomingo and Heather Palmer of Guntown ; 3 Granddaughters: McKinna Palmer, Anna Kate Robinson and Sydney Palmer; 2 Sisters: Billie T Loveless and Betty Lou Moore and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Grandson: Jared Wayne Gann; Brothers: Doyle, Autis, Otis, Wayne and Van; Sister: Dorothy.
