Roger G. Shaw also known as “Blue Thunder” passed away at his home after an illness on May 3, 2024. He was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, piddling in the yard and his shed.
Roger is survived by his wife of 43 years, Martha Jean Mahan Shaw; two sons, Roger Wayne Shaw (Laura) and Ricky Marlin Shaw; two grandchildren; Remington Abagail Shaw and Marvin Wayne Shaw; two brothers, Randy Shaw (Paula) and Rusty Shaw; one sister, Rita Alexander (Billy); seven brothers-in-law, Robert “Tana” Mahan, Russell Mahan (Jane), David Mahan, James Mahan (Christy), Arke Mahan, Kelly Mahan and Steve Mahan; two sisters-in-law, Ann Castro (Joe) and Sherry Mahan; mother-in-law, Sue Mahan; and a host of nieces and nephews on both sides.
Preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie Shaw; brother, Robert Shaw, grandson, Kendall Mason Shaw and a nephew Richard Sills.
There will no service per Roger’s request.
