Roger Dale Wisner, age 70, of Chelsea, formerly of Albertville passed away Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty Sewell Wisner;
Children: April (Tim) Strickland of Birmingham; Whit (Leslie) Wisner of Auburn; Holleigh (Jeff) Hamby of Helena, Grandchildren: Ella, Evie and Jeremiah Strickland; Davis, Blake, Trey and Emma Ryann Wisner; Seth, Addelyn and Hazel Hamby, Father-In-Law: Hershell Sewell and Cousin: Patsy (David) Martin.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Louise Wisner; father, John Benjamin Wisner; and Mother-in-Law, Audrey Jean Sewell
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in the Whiton Community. Rev. Greg Gibbs will officiate his service. Pallbearers will be Jeff Hamby, Tim Strickland, Jim Thompson, Mike Sewell, Adam Sewell and Brent Sewell. Honorary Pallbearers: James Hooper, Randy Sewell, and Stan Irvin. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 before the service.
