Roger Dale Tankersley of Cullman, passed away on January 27, 2020 at the age of 65. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 31, 2020 in the chapel of Moss Service Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Samuel Tucker officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Bethlehem East Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Ausby and Estelle Adams Tankersley; sisters, Gladys Lankford and Betty Kemp and brothers: James Lester Tankersley and Ralph Tankersley. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Tankersley; daughter, Tannis (Brian) McCombs; grandchildren: Hayden Claire, Ave Cate and Camden McCombs; sisters: Kathy (Donald) Schnurr and Jean (Glenn) Howse; brother: Andrew “Sonny” (Shirley) Tankersley; brother-in-law, Buddy Kemp; several nieces and nephews and his loving & faithful companion for 17 years, Billy Bob.
