Roger Dale Swanner, 58, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, July 10th, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Swanner was born on October 12th, 1963, to Harvey Swanner and Marie Evans Swanner.
Mr. Swanner is survived by his mother, Marie Swanner; aunts Wilma Cannon and Mary Tanner; uncle Royce Evans; along with several cousins.
Preceded in death by his father Harvey Swanner; grandparents Arlon Swanner, Lorene Swanner, Wilburn Evans, and Lillian Evans.
Funeral services for Mr. Swanner will be Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Joe Carwile officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, from 12:00-1:45 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Swanner loved being a fire fighter and was an avid farmer who loved his tractors.
